Jedemevlakem.cz – Train Travel Blog and Resource

In 2012, I founded Jedemevlakem.cz, a passion project that has grown into a comprehensive resource for train travel enthusiasts across Europe. This project showcases my ability to develop and maintain a long-term web initiative that combines personal interest with valuable travel information.

Key features of the project:

• Content-rich blog: The site features detailed articles about train journeys across Europe, offering personal experiences, tips, and practical information for travelers.
• User-friendly design: The website has an intuitive layout with a clean, visually appealing interface that showcases high-quality travel photography.
• Multi-author platform: Over the years, the site has evolved to include contributions from multiple authors, enriching the content and perspectives offered.
• Categorized content: The site organizes trips by destination, making it easy for users to find information about specific countries or regions.
• Bilingual content: The site is available in Czech and English, with the English version operating under the name „Czech Rail Guide“, expanding its reach to international audiences.
• Official association: In 2023, Jedemevlakem was established as an official association, marking a significant step in the project’s development.

This project demonstrates my skills in web development, content management, and long-term project sustainability. It showcases the ability to turn a personal interest into a valuable resource, adapting and growing the platform over time to meet user needs and expand its reach both domestically and internationally.
